Overcoming Adversity Workshop | Scott B Harris

The CIP Overcoming Adversity Workshop is a 5 lesson video series run by Scott that that contains 28 short videos and a student workbook. These lessons are self paced with a recommendation of one lesson per fortnight. This workshop is a deep dive into the four pillars of growth that I talk about in my keynote presentation. These are four tools that everyone can master if they want to grow, and are the things Scott has used to keep him looking forward. The lessons look like this:

  1. In the first lesson we will be setting a goal that we will be trying to achieve by the end of this workshop, and each week we will check in to keep us on track to achieving it.

  2. In the second lesson we will learn what choices we have in the face of adversity and how to take responsibility for them.

  3. In the third we will be learning what it takes to form an unstoppable mindset that we can use to help us overcome adversity and thrive.

  4. In the fourth lesson we will be looking at how far one can go when they persevere through a challenge and refuse to give up.

  5. The final lesson, lesson 5, is a class discussion where we'll be talking about what we've learnt. The best way to learn more is by listening to what other people have picked up on and adding that to your toolkit.
